Founded by the American actor/director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare's The Globe Theatre is dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and is located at Globe Walk, Bankside on the south bank of the River Thames. The site is the location of the Globe Theatre Company, Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition and Globe Education.
