GERMANY / Saxony / Ore Mountains / Olbernhau / Ruins of the 'Lange Huette' in the open-air museum of Saigerhuette which opened in 1994. This monument complex recalls of mining and metallurgy of the region. The metallurgical plant for silver extraction from silver-containing black copper was founded in 1537 and was also centre of copper processing.
Hotel Saigerhuette is housed in half-timbered buildings.
