GERMANY / Saxony / Upper Lusatia / Bautzen / The equestrian statue of the King Albert of Saxony at the Lauenturm. Erected between 1400 to 1403, the tower belonged to the former city fortification.
Bautzen, the 'city of towers' is located on the Spree River and the centre of the Sorbs, a West-Slavic people and a recognised national minority.
