Mau‡ Square, located in the business district called Centro, has been closed for four years due to the re-qualification works and it was reopened in September 2015.
The 15 concrete letters and symbol of the hashtag #CidadeOlimpica were decorated by 15 artist, in 15 different places of Rio de Janeiro.
The Museu do Amanh‹ (Museum of Tomorrow), designed by the spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, and the Museu do MAR (Museum of Art of Rio) are located in Mau‡ Square.

The consortium built the 3,7 kilometre cycle lane that links Leblon and S‹o Conrado neighbourhoods and run along the Atlantic coastline. It is one of the infrastructural projects of the Olympic games 2016.
The bike lane Tim Maia was inaugurated by Rio de Janeiro mayor Eduardo Paes on January 17, 2016, after around 1,5 years of work.
