Bearskins: The soldiers of the Grenadiers, the Coldstream, the Scots, Welsh and Irish Guards are instantly recognised in their tall, bearskin hats. Many of these are made by the firm of L. Silberston and Sons Ltd., of London. Mr Silberston arranges the finished hats in rows before being looked at by the Guards inspector.
